Report cards are available in your NYCSA account. By now, most parents have set up their accounts, but for those that have not - remember that this is the only way report cards can be seen after distribution.
NYCSA is an easy way to stay connected to your child's school, offering you access to your child's grades, schedules, test scores, attendance, Individualized Education Program (IEP) information, bus times and more NYCSA allows you to submit essential school forms online and access important announcements from the NYC Department of Education, including news of events happening in your district or citywide.
NYCSA now includes Parent University, a resource hub filled with free courses, events, and activities to help empower you as an advocate for your child's education. In addition you will be able to use NYCSA to cast your vote in upcoming elections for candidates who will represent your community on local and citywide Community Education Councils.
We’ve made it easier to sign up for an NYC Schools Account (NYCSA). Setting up a basic account will allow you to get emergency notifications from the DOE.
If you have not yet created your account, you can create a basic account online from any computer, phone, or tablet. All you need to do is:
After you create your account, you will need to verify your identity and your relationship with that student. You will need an account creation code letter, contact Norma Santaliz at nsantaliz@schools.nyc.gov.
Once you verify your connection to your student you will be able to see your child’s grades, test scores, and attendance.

The DOE takes the confidentiality of information about students very seriously. There are several federal and state laws, such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and New York State Education Law 2-d, and local regulations, such as Chancellor’s Regulation A-820, that protect students’ “personally identifiable information” (PII). These laws also place responsibilities on the DOE and outside parties that are given access to students’ PII, including the requirement for the DOE and schools to provide families with the following annual notices:

Bussing is available for qualifying students, dismissal will be at 2:30PM and 3:00PM Exit 4

Sick pick up will always be in the main office, please make sure parent/guardian is on the blue/dismissal card.
PS65 will be using Parent Square next year as our main platform for communication. We will no longer be using Class Dojo or Operoo in September.

As per DOE directive, transportation eligibility is based on a student's grade level, walking distance between home and school, and existing accommodations based on medical condition, housing status, or safety assessment.
