After School

Our school has the JCC After School Program administered by the Jewish Community Center.  It offers homework help and activities until 5:00pm.  P.S. 65 kindergarteners through fifth graders also participate in the Goodhue Program.  A bus is provided by Goodhue to transport them to the Goodhue Center.  There is a fee for the program.  You may call the following numbers for further information.

Extended Day

P.S. 65 offers academic after school programs for children who might benefit from extended hours.  Parents are notified when their children are eligible for these programs. The following programs are offered:

  • Saturday Academy
  • Reading/Writing Program

Five Days a Week/New Hours 2:20pm to 5:20pm

JCC offers art, gym, literacy, STREAM, and games.

IMPORTANT
If you intend for your child to enroll in the Compass Elementary Program, which runs five days a week, your child will not be eligible for the Explorer Program.  This program is specifically for students NOT in our other JCC after-school program.
